Continued researching MySQL access thru VFP clients. These n-tier achitecture thingies are driving me nuts! I hope I find some information (preferably tutorials and/or sample apps) on accessing SQL thru VFP.

Restarted learning VFP and MySQL. Gosh, I hope I do find more time for learning them nowadays, as I foresee the need to build clients just for querying, a la samboy's query.

Had to comb thru the licenses to find out which one I used on the said PC, to reinstall WinXP. There was a problem with the GIS software long ago. ;-)

i-Solv software
Topic: work
Spent the afternoon discussing the i-Solv software dev't contract with Mr. Agito, the GM, and SVP-Finance/Admin AGD.

Before going home, they suddenly wanted a detailed labor cost for contractual employees, both for SF and FB!

Spent the morning downloading and installing MySQL standard 4.0.21 for Linux and other related MySQL tools on the server, and Query Browser (beta) and MySQL Admin for Windows on the AccThinkPad and my workstation.

OT@Home
Topic: i-Solv Project
I was assigned as the Project Manager for our Billing and Collection software yesterday, so I had to "work overtime" at home and reviewed the contract with I-Solv Business Solutions Co.

I found several typos and grammatical errors, and now I'll be photocopying the contract so I can write my notes on the pages of my copy.

I will include Mike and DPP in the Project Team, along with Pie and Rico, CFC, FVV and their designated personnel.

AGD told me to closely scrutinize the "ownership" (of the software) portion of the ULA.
